COVID-19 Update on Entry Requirements to Tunisia – January 25, 2021
Tunisia updated its entry requirements on January 25, 2021. Mandatory confinement in a state-approved hotel is now required for all travelers from all origins. These new measures come into effect on February 1, 2021.
- General Provisions
- Negative PCR test 72 hours before boarding
- Mandatory confinement of 7 days in a state-approved hotel.
Travelers can take a PCR test after 7 days of confinement. If the result is negative, they can end their mandatory confinement while committing to observing the current prevention rules. The traveler must present a hotel VOUCHER with details of the 6-night reservation already paid.
- Travel to Tunisia for a short stay (less than 5 days)
- Negative PCR test 72 hours before boarding
- Mandatory confinement in a state-approved hotel.
The traveler must present a hotel VOUCHER with details of the reservation already paid. Authorizations may be issued by the mandatory confinement commission within the Ministry of Health for exceptional cases such as health reasons, major professional or family reasons. Tunis, January 30, 2021
